Product Description:
No matter how much we’ve gotten used to metal cutlery, eating with a wooden spoon and fork brings about that inexplicable nostalgic feeling. Our Coconut Wood Utensils will let you experience a homemade meal like never before.
These utensils include a spoon and fork, and they are all made from coconut timber. That explains why these wooden utensils appear to marry simplicity with beauty. Their coconut wood design can definitely provide your set of cutlery with a touch of classic style.
Unlike metal utensils, wooden ones can make every bite taste warm without leaving a trace of metallic taste. Moreover, they don’t produce that uncomfortable metal scraping noise, and they also won’t leave scratches on your dishware.
The best part about our Coconut Wood Utensils is that they go perfectly with our Rainforest Coconut Bowls. What’s a better companion to a coconut bowl than a set of utensils made from coconut timber?

How It’s Made

1. Reclaim offcuts of coconut timber
To make our wooden utensils, we collect discarded offcuts of coconut timber from factories. Then, we send the wood to our team of artisans who’ll transform them into beautiful, food-safe utensils.

2. Cut the wood into the shape of utensils
Our artisans draw the profiles of spoons, forks, and knives on the offcuts. Then, they use a saw to cut the wood down to the drawn shapes of the utensils.

3. Carve the details
Next, they use carving knives to hollow out the bowls of the wooden spoons, carve the prongs of the forks, and sharpen the edges of the knives. They then carve the utensils' handles, making them smooth and comfortable to hold.

4. Smooth out the shapes and surfaces
After carving the utensils, they smooth out and sand the edges and surfaces. Finally, the utensils are thoroughly cleaned and coated with all-natural coconut oil.
