Product Description:
Whenever you’re digging into your breakfast smoothie bowl, a metal spoon doesn’t really seem to complement your all-natural meal. The Coconut Wood Spoon, however, can serve as a suitable companion to any nourishing meal.
This spoon’s beautiful color and wood grain come from its material: coconut timber. There’s a substantial difference between a wooden coconut spoon and a metal one. The latter feels artificial and leaves a metallic taste, while the former provides meals with seemingly warm, natural flavors. There also seems to be an interesting story behind a spoon made of coconut timber, unlike a regular metal spoon. That’s why a wooden spoon can instantly spruce up your set of cutlery and can perfectly match your coconut bowl as well.
With a width of 1.4 inches, the Coconut Wood Spoon can scoop up your creamy soy yogurt for dessert or your blueberry smoothie bowl to start the day. The spoon is also 3-inch long, which is just enough to provide you with a comfortable grip as you indulge in the creamy goodness of your healthy dessert.

How It’s Made

1. Reclaim offcuts of coconut timber
To make our wooden utensils, we collect discarded offcuts of coconut timber from factories. Then, we send the wood to our team of artisans who’ll transform them into beautiful, food-safe utensils.

2. Cut the wood into the shape of utensils
Our artisans draw the profiles of spoons, forks, and knives on the offcuts. Then, they use a saw to cut the wood down to the drawn shapes of the utensils.

3. Carve the details
Next, they use carving knives to hollow out the bowls of the wooden spoons, carve the prongs of the forks, and sharpen the edges of the knives. They then carve the utensils' handles, making them smooth and comfortable to hold.

4. Smooth out the shapes and surfaces
After carving the utensils, they smooth out and sand the edges and surfaces. Finally, the utensils are thoroughly cleaned and coated with all-natural coconut oil.
