If you’re both a nature lover and a huge fan of fruit juice, frappes, and milk tea, then you’ll love having the Bamboo Straws Variety Pack.
This variety pack comes with four bamboo straws of different sizes: two regular and two boba straws. The regular bamboo straw is ideal for sipping freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, and frappes. For a smooth milk tea drinking experience, the boba straw has a hole size that’s wide enough for tapioca pearls.
The best thing about this variety pack is that all of the straws are made from real bamboo--a far better alternative to plastic. Plastic straws have been causing irreparable damage to the environment, unlike bamboo straws. In fact, bamboo straws are reusable, compostable, and biodegradable. There won’t be any harm done on the environment when these straws have to be discarded.Reduce your waste and enhance the taste of your beverage with our Bamboo Straws Variety Pack. Using these straws can make your drinks look fun and refreshing and, most importantly, can reduce your carbon footprint.
BAMBOO STRAWS ARE IDEAL FOR
Before using bamboo straws for the first time, disinfect the straws by soaking them in boiling water and vinegar solution (20:1 ratio) for around 5 minutes.
Hand-wash the straws with lukewarm water and soap after every use. Scrub the insides with a straw cleaning brush.
Let the straws dry after every wash.
How It’s Made
1. Source bamboo stalks from sustainable plantations
From these stalks, we only get the parts that we need to make our straws. After getting the stalks, local craftspeople let them dry under the sun, making the bamboo stalks sturdy & safe to use as straws.
2. Turn the stalks into straws
To prepare the coconut for cutting, the local craftspeople use a chisel to remove the fibrous husk. Then, they bore a couple of holes to pour out the coconut juice. Cutting the shell in half.
3. Wash and disinfect them
To make them safe for sipping your drinks, the bamboo straws are submerged in boiling water with a dash of vinegar for about an hour.
4. Dry the straws under the sun
The straws are dried under the hot tropical sun for days. Not only can this remove the moisture from the straws but also naturally disinfect them and provide them with that golden sun-kissed appearance.
