One of the best ways to start saving the environment is by slowly changing our lifestyles into more sustainable ones. When it comes to eating every day, there’s one effective way to make it more sustainable, and it’s eating with the most eco-friendly utensils by far: Bamboo Utensils.
Today, more and more people are recognizing bamboo as one of the most sustainable materials out there. It owns the world record of the fastest growing plant (a certain bamboo species can even grow up to 35 inches a day!). Plus, bamboo is considered a type of grass. That means it can be cut without harming the plant, and it’ll continue to grow fast and tall. That also means it’s one of the most sustainable, renewable materials in the world.
For this very reason, this set of eco-friendly utensils is your greenest choice of tableware. It also comes with two pieces of cutlery: a bamboo fork for enjoying your everyday meals and a bamboo spoon for scooping up your delicious desserts.
100% natural and sustainable, these biodegradable Bamboo Utensils can let you indulge in your mouthwatering dishes in natural style—all while savoring the fact that you’re doing the environment a huge favor.
How It’s Made
1. Reclaim bamboo offcuts
To make our bamboo utensils, we collect discarded offcuts of bamboo. Then, we send these offcuts to our team of artisans who’ll transform them into beautiful, food-safe utensils.
2. Cut the bamboo offcuts into the shape of utensils
The artisans draw the profiles of spoons, and forks on the offcuts. Then, they use a saw to cut the wood down to the drawn shapes of the utensils.
3. Smooth out the shapes and surfaces
Next, they carve the spoons’ bowls, the forks’ prongs, and the knives’ sharp edges as well as all of the utensils’ handles. After that, they smooth out and sand the edges and surfaces.
4. Clean and let them dry
Finally, the artisans clean the bamboo utensils with water and let them dry naturally—giving you sustainable utensils that are 100% handmade.
